Do you see the effects of the bot-busting update? Personally, I can see myself getting a rapier for an absolute mother-fudgebrownie joke. I'd trade my rapier for a maul now and a ZS. It's so stupid. I try to through the frost dragons.
I have to tab out my first attempt because I wasn't sure about the flame. The second trip is successful - until then, whups! When my rapier strikes, Mother fudger puts up her defense shield. Actually when I think of it, SoSolid should put up an awe-inspiring video of the guy trying to take his own life (with the Frost Dragon shield) ...) lol).
Yes, that's how you die. This does take out bots. But it's true I'd much prefer 5 billion bots rather than the way it works. I've lost about 400k bones due to this. Screw Jagex, I just can't bear to bother. They won't let FT/W because they care about the gold farmers (yes they took out Gold4rs). This is a huge whup. I've noticed that they're not pursuing gold4fun)
Jagex's participation in the game appears to have risen significantly. Laissez-Faire game design, where mechanical and other items were introduced into the game and then not touched for a period of time, was the norm for a long time. Many mechanical issues resulted. For example the massive imbalance in combat styles and abilities was completely unprofitable. Jagex is only just beginning to seriously examine game mechanics and work on improving them.
