EA has released the final update to Madden 21's Franchise Mode. The update clarifies how it will make player trade and ensure fair play for players. The main change comes to the logic of trading players within the game. Previously, valuations for stars would be based on the level of depth chart they were in the team they currently play for. A change to the system has meant that stars will now be valued according the value they bring to the team they are traded to. Similar changes have been made so that the value of players also takes into consideration their ability to play the teams' schemes. EA hopes these modifications will help bring Madden 21 to "what we've experienced in real life" in light of the evolving perceptions of real-world trades over the years.
Anyone who wants to test the game Madden 21 for the first time might have a chance this week. EA and Microsoft have announced that Madden 21 will be accessible on Xbox Game Pass starting March 3. Star Wars Squadrons, several other EA titles, and a host of other Xbox games will be added to the sports sim over the next few weeks.
It's rare to observe EA update Madden 21 so much, particularly in regard to the single-player franchise mode. However, it is refreshing to see the developers attempting to regain some faith that they lost with players over what was widely believed to be a roster update , rather than a true sequel when the game was released last year.
